Korean Listening & Speaking Video Exercises

Basic Korean Lessons

Listening Is the Key to Speaking Korean

How do babies learn to talk? They don't even know how to read! But babies are great listeners. Linguists and researchers have found that listening is essential for learning a new language. If you want to speak Korean, then you must listen to Korean.

The following are Korean video exercises you can listen to for free. You can also practice your pronunciation skills by speaking after each sentence is spoken. Keep in mind the content of the video is irrelevant. What is actually important is giving your brain enough exposure to Korean sounds. (It's okay if you don't understand what's being said.) So put on a pair of earphones and listen with all your attention!

Tip 1: Subtitles are available for the first segment in Korean and English
Tip 2: If the voice sounds too fast, try changing the speed of the video
